BELGRADE-BANJALUKA: ATTILIO VIVIANI ON THE PODIUM OF STAGE 1

The Veronese rider finished behind Rudyk and Conforti

Bijeljna, April 19, 2023 – Team corratec achieves its second podium of the season three days later the first one thanks to Attilio Viviani, third in the sprint in the 1st stage of the 140 km Belgrade-Banjaluka, from Belgrade to Bijelina.

The sprint was won by Poland’s Bartosz Rudyk ahead of Lorenzo Conforti and our rider, who was well supported in the finale by Nicolas Dalla Valle, who then placed 9th at the finish.

A few seconds after crossing the finish line, Attilio Viviani said, “It’s a good result that gives morale after a somewhat unlucky period. The season had started well in Argentina, then I was no longer able to place with continuity. The big goal of the season, the Giro d’Italia, is approaching, and clearly being in front is good. There are still two opportunities between now and the end of the race, I hope I can take advantage of them. I thank Team corratec for the support during the stage.”

Tomorrow second stage from Bijelijna to Vlesenica with a finish that suits the climbers
