Heraklion, 3 May 2023 – Another beautiful result was achieved by Lorenzo Quartucci in the first stage of the Tour of Hellas. The stage, with start and finish in Heraklion, was characterized right from the start by a very strong wind which created considerable discomfort for the riders, as well as two breakups in the peloton, one 30km from the finish and another in the final straight. In this difficult situation, the rider from Sansepolcro managed to hold on, and with great skill, Lorenzo was able to conquer 4th place in the final sprint that saw Aniolkowski Stanislaw triumph. An excellent result also for Samuele Zambelli who, despite having spent a lot to mend the rift created after the breakup of the group, managed to finish in 12th place
