The Ukrainian rider and Valerio Conti take a double top 15 for Team corratec – Selle Italia. Tomorrow Coppa Sabatini

Pontedera, 13 Settembre 2023 – It was a good day for Team corratec – Selle Italia, which saw Valerio Conti, who just returned after a long stop due to a fractured pelvis, and Andrii Ponomar take 13th and 14th place respectively at Giro della Toscana. The Ukrainian rider has won the Young Riders classification in a race characterized by a great selection in the second and last passage on the climb of Monte Serra, which led the group to break up since the first kilometers of the ascent. The victory went to Pavel Sivakov, with our riders finishing in the main group 1’58” behind the Frenchman.

Tomorrow we will race again at the Coppa Sabatini, where five of the seven riders seen today will be confirmed. Marco Murgano and Karel Vacek will be replaced by Lorenzo Quartucci and Nicolas Tivani.
